im so glad that exams are finally over. its been a hard time preparing for it. now im feeling ever so relieved, even much more than the O's. as you said, its Advanced now, no longer Ordinary.

movie@vivo was good, chinese movies still have their ways to mix romance and war, with a totally touching ending to it. i wont mind watching this movie again though. i think i said that for christmas carol too.

now im sittting right in front of my computer typing this blog entry with a small glass of alize gold passion, need to finish it fast and move on to other types of liquor.

i need to decide fast which shoe to get so i can resume training for the ocbc event next year march. plus im thinking of changing the pedals to shimano105 as well. vpost finally received the invoice for the guitar parts, i sent them 5times+fax. idiots.

hot sun, nice weather, beautiful scenery and very very peaceful. enjoyed all these while cycling yesterday. i love it when the park connecter is so empty, you can cruise at 30km/h without even having to slow down, all the way from changi to ecp. most of you wouldnt have seen this place in the pic before, other than people like jovan and zy.

and i just realised that my sister's cover letter wont work out for me. when she wrote that, she already had experience in this area and knows how to operate some stuff. and all i have is a pretty useless prelims results, and maybe the even more useless bt results. need to find some way to make sure i get to work at a*star/ices.

okay story telling time. this is as accurate as what mavis told me.

mjc installed this turnstile gate in their school, probably because they see every other school is doing it. the school thinks its damn cool to have it. so they installed it. well done. but the school didnt learn from other schools how to operate this thing well. they have this thing at the sidegate, that has all the other bus services other than 3. the turnstile only turns in one direction, like what you'll see in sa. but the gate beside it is locked after 7.30. so which means you can only exit but cannot enter from that side. then comes another thing that even i dont understand. for each person to exit, he has to press a button once. and only he can exit, so the next person has to press again.

the les paul's parts are still in transit somewhere in the usa, so is my 1987 boss ce-2 chorus pedal. im gonna postpone the les paul upgrade till late dec/jan.

and today marks the start of the 1week break till physics paper 1 next monday. have a good rest, drink abit and play some guitar. finally got the pedaltrain jr in a hardshell flight case. dont be deceived by the jr(which means junior) as this thing weighs in at 10.5kg only with 3 pedals in it. the wah pedal, ds-1 and xotic ac booster. how am i gonna carry this bomb to prom? i still havent attach the power supply and boss ce-2!

i call it a bomb for a good reason. the people on the mrt keep staring at me, then the case. and i got stopped at bugis mrt(i boarded the train there) by the security officer. sometimes they even check my bag when im going to school via kovan. and they look dissapointed to find only gc and a box file inside. this is how it looks like.

finally, after so many years, a buckethead signature guitar by gibson usa!
ebony fingerboard, no inlays, 24 frets, alpine white, red arcade machine buttons, chambered body. one of my dream combinations on an electric guitar.
who's buckethead? he's some awesome guitarist thats sort of weird but definitely skilled. ex guitarist for guns n roses, but mainly a solo artist. at US$4k plus retail price, which i think would round up to somewhere around SGD$4k. quite a good price.

and in search of a better tone, there'll be some changes to my current gear. i'll be doing it in 2 to 3 phases.

Phase1: the washburn N1 is getting a new owner next week. that'll be jonathan. congrats, you've found youself a good piece at a good price.
