went to cy's chalet/bbq yesterday.very few people were there,those from 4F i mean.there are also quite some of his relatives there.the bbq food was quite little in variety,i only could remember satay and stingray.its quite fun, like a get together with former classmates.not forgetting kc and ben who talked so much crap during the bbq.theres also the never dying candles that keep giveing out sparks and reigniting.

Hi people, thanks for all your concerns, especially for those who have made their way to Tan Tock Seng these past few days. Kenrick has been taken home to the Lord this afternoon. He is now with the Father in heaven. Though he may no longer be with us here, he lives eternally in heaven above now. So do not be sad, for he has finally gone home, to a place more beautiful than where we are now, a place where he will be happy, where he will live eternally and where all things are for eternity.
As what Keith has said, we would be resuming trainings on monday and we apologize for the disruptions and cancellation of trainings without prior notices. The training time would be as stated by Keith. Thanks.

this news came shocking to the school,and tpjc's badminton players.the mood at assembly this morning was solemn,despite yesterday's results release.while we were in school celebrating,someone had left us.the Lord is with you,kenrick.

the RESULTS

was back at anglican high yesterday to collect the o levels results of course.met up with the same old 4F,feels good to be with the class again,especially after everyone hardly met up during to holidays and these few weeks.as usual,the school will talk about how we did,and all those stuff.the level L1R5 average is 10.XX for our batch,so it means AHS will be back in band one and will value-add.haha,feels proud to tell others that we value-added the school.got the year book,along with some misc stuff.

ok,down to the results.i expected a 12,thats what i needed to get to st.andrews jc.and indeed,i got 12.God's at wprk and He answers prayers,i can tell you that.1 A1, 4 A2, 3 B3.hmmm....thats rather good for me.a 8point jump from prelim,which came out as 20.huge improvement for me.a rather disappointing B3 from hcl though,expected an A2.english and english lit were Bs too,unexpected for e.lit, cos my prelim was just a borderline pass,like C5.A1 came from e math.the rest of the aces came from chem,physics,combined humans,and a math.it was a rather good result for me.will be able to get to sajc.some people did well,some did not.zhengyi,guorong,good luck for your appeals.zhihong,take good care.congrats stef,huiwen,yuhua.

the previous week ended with a great weekend,of course as most of you might know, its my birthday.so as the plan goes....
Saturday
stayed at home during the day.whole body was aching hell lot from the previous night's rugby training at toa payoh.zhengyi came over to play guitar as usual before going out to meet jovan.went to jack's place at century square,but no fried food cos zhengyi had a terrible sore throat.jovan had his top striploin steak medium rare,i had baked salmon,zhengyi had some lamb-fish combo.total bill was $82.51,including a jug of honeydew juice with aloe vera.then went on to watch cloverfield,i think it was a horrible failure.imagine,the camera angle is first person,like someone recording from a handycam.so its shaky,and all 3 of us felt giddy after the show.didnt even see that terrible monster that attacked NYC.shit show,dont watch it.its a waste of money."i had a nice day".went home after movie,watched a bit of tv and my dad took out a bottle of sake we got from japan last year.then followed by red wine,white wine,irish cream,absolut vodka,and rose champagne.dead drunk by the time everyone done with drinking

woke up with a headache,as expected.didnt have breakfast,too tired to have one.so decided to sleep in instead.went out for birthday lunch at meritus mandarin hotel's pine court.the food was great.ordered timsum,and all sorts of different chinese cuisine.the bill was in excess of 300 i think.but who cares,im not paying.

saw the tv in school on monday.o levels results are ready to be collected at 2 pm on thusday.getting a lil jitty as i dont expect it so early.i thought it would be on friday.but i already had this plan

Fridays will be tough

slacked for a good 3 and a half hours at the library after an hour of math lecture.the timetable is rubbish.but before that,had breakfast and a surprise birthday muffin from 08S23.i chose the chocolate one over the banana one.but its a tad too heavy,though its quite tasty.and i found that actually,ceputra is abit slow in his reactions.that actually made him kinda funny.my ipod is my best friend for the day.next week the o levels results will be out,i think its a friday.as usual,then went for the last hour of china studies lecture,didnt do much anyway.just talked.it was after the cse lecture that was the fun part.

during lecture,i got a gift from my classmates.i sort of knew what it was because christabel burst into laughter after knowing that i dont read magazines.but they really put in effort into wrapping up the gift.there is at least 7 layers if im not wrong.and a candy for every wrapper that i open.they gave me a FHM magazine.but dont get the idea wrong,i didnt ask for that,and i didnt want that.though its still nice to get a present for your birthday.thanks lots for the wacky idea : )

went for badminton training straight after that.the physical was hell,i realised i couldnt jog and sprint and jog again.i will get muscle cramps.did lots of footwork and the usual badminton stuff.also joined the team for bubbletea after training.and played bastard dai dee.and im the bastard.hahaha.

gonna leave for toa payoh for sru training already.i think i will die,4 hours.but thats what you get from national squad.hope i get my jersey soon.will be out for church and dinner with zhengyi,jovan,zhuting and brenda tmr night at jack's place.hope the food is good

one of the J1 retainees in my class asked me this question,"are you pure chinese?".she asked that after asking me if i took higher chinese in secondary school.my first reaction was huh,uh...what you mean by pure chinese,you mean there is such thing called elective chinese,or like combined mother tongue.later then i realised that they were refering to my race,i think its because im rather tanned.they said my facial features were sharp too,thats something i dont realise.anyway,i'll be helping some people in my class for their chinese assignment,although i dont take chinese at all in jc.skipped training today for dental appointment,and also making a mouth guard that is specially made for me.

skipping cell on friday,celebrating birthday with zhengyi and jovan on sat and also going church

ITS THE WEEKENDS

rocket,kc and ben were supposed to crash lectures again at tpjc.but kc and ben got stuck outside the gate because they were late,so they couldnt get in,they went to tm instead.had econs lecture,quite boring,then followed by GP class after that.Gp was quite alright,the people in my class are quite friendly too.in the same group as valerie and another girl,and valerie happened to know yuhua,she is yuhua's neighbour i think.after GP came freedom,no more lectures.was at the library with willie,yihao,guoen,chengru,edmond and this dunman sec guy.willie is getting a bit crazy since he saw this sac girl by the name of linette,well thats temporary infatuation.from our position at the library,chengru and i were sitting directly in front of linette,or maybe a 2 tables in front.willie couldnt see,so he actually wanted to change seats with us.but we refused,and kept saying things to agitate him.cos i used to take 17 home,chengru too,so we were like maybe she have seen us,so willie got no chance.we were laughing the whole time in library, a heaven for us in a place called hell.to tell you readers the extent that willie is going,he will attend lectures of subjects he dont take,but linette takes.he will say some weird stuff to tell the whole world that he is lovestruck.anyway,he got through the tennis trials provided if he stays on at tpjc.

it was the badminton orientation of the jc1s today.good games,WET games,WILD games.got home wet through and through.the games were quite fun,got to know the senoirs and my fellow schoolmates better.so in short,i made more friends.the juniors back in ahs will start their east zones next week,from what i heard from zhuting.most likely will be heading back to anglican high to support them or watch some selected matches.hope they could win the champion.o levels are like so far away.results will be out quite soon,maybe in 2 or 3 weeks.it will decide my future JC.hope god does miracles at this time,and show them on the results slip.i felt confident right after the exams,but as time drags and passes on,i tend to feel a bit less confident.i dont like this feeling,its horrible.

the timetable for the remaining of PAE is out.my timetable is ridiculous.i can have 4 hours of free time in between lectures.or a 3 and 1/2 hours straight of free time on friday.im gonna use that time fully to study at the school's library.so what if its PAE?im not gonna slack,im not gonna waste any of my time,im going to study hard and go to army with confidence of getting to OCS.school will be ending rather late.the badminton trainings will have 7.2km runs for physical training.

i will get my wah wah pedal tomorrow.my next guitar will be a gibson explorer studio,next amp will be a tiny terror.and i'll get a collection of pedals.that will be by end of next year.most likely will be going to taiwan end of this year,and vancouver end of next.i will enjoy my time and study hard,just hope god answers and deliver me through this period of time.

DEALING WITH DEATH

3 days in JC

School has been rather good so far,or maybe its good up till now i could say.crashed cl and biology lectures, biology is boring, i couldnt understand anything, or maybe a little little bit,some that i have heard of when in sec 1 & 2.but the rest is just alien.cl seems to be easy to score an 'a',but i wont take that in jc, no way.cll is the tough one, it includes chinese lit. as part of the subject.

from the above statement,you should know who am i talking about, right?no doubt, its mr rocket, who is forever late for everything,even student camp.he was sort of stuck outside the school and he wanted to crash lectures, but he was late.so he waited and came in through the main gate where the security guard post was.and he needed to fill something up,a form or something like that.tan roo kia was his name, 08S78 was his class-by the way we only have up till S28,and the reason was the mrt tyre punctured.he came in in the end and talked a lot of rubbish, sort of disrupted me who sat beside him during the h2math lecture.he couldnt understand anything, he missed the whole of partial fractions too.we sat around the library before the lecture with junyi, and rocket started talking about the indian girls who were not so far away from us, and made all of us laugh a lot.he said kc and ben would also be coming to crash lectures on friday,3 jokers will be with us.had badminton training after school,it starts at 3pm, school ends at 1.so i went home first to take a short break and grab my stuff then head back to school.at the training, willie's eye candy was there, looking at us train.dont know what she is there for, she also came back to watch when the training was ending.did feeding for other jc1s who were not as good,that part was boring.half an hour of feeding.then did the half court singles which i beat 2 other guys in my group 8 straight games.and i won keith 4 times,haha, he is the vice captain for the boys team, and i shouldnt be winning him.

today, had a day of lessons, yes a whole day of lectures.started with physics in which only yihao and i took.but the lesson passed quite quickly,its an hour and a half by the way.the lecturer is good, so good that you would never fall asleep during his lecture.even though its only measurements.then had spe after physics,measured height and weight.im 171 cm and 72kg.physical education is boring, i havent had this time of PE for 4 years since im in the sports class throughout the secondary school years.and had the first china studies lecture too,i think i would continue studying that in H1 even if i go other JC.its a easy subject, if you can do well in social studies, i heed you to do china studies in H1.its 90% similar.huiling couldnt talk or eat properly today, she just got her braces on yesterday.doubt she will be going for MusTree cell tmr,neither would zhengyi,neither would i.will be busy tomorrow.

update on the saturday and monday

a superb weekend for me,the best ever.sat morning, went to church with zhengyi for cell.we were the only 2 guys in the cell, there is supposed to have junle and yongsheng,but dont know where are they.played a game,forgot what it is called already.quite fun though,i think its something like conga or what.left early with zhengyi for juring east sports complex.im trialing for the singapore rugby union under-20 team,its the physical thats important.ran 3km in 11'52 minutes.the target was 13.did 10 reps for both arms 35kg in under 2 minutes, easy.the final one that i barely passed was the 100m sprint.died in that one.but lickily, i still got into the team,as reserve for prop.

monday, went to school as usual.my class is 08S23.they split all the anglican people up,though the combi is sort of similar.went for the trials for badminton after school.i stroked for less than a minute then guohao called me to come out and give others a chance.im in.the team people are quite friendly,they have senoirs like guohao who came back to help out.played doubles with keith for quite long.then the teacher in charge came around and tell me in mandarin:"you train properly for next week, i send you for pilot pen".its like so fast and im not really keen in staying on at tpjc.the ending talk from keith,he said that those who may be leaving for other jcs, the first one he looked at was me.yeah, most likely im not staying on at tpjc.

thats all, its quite summarised.and i dont like my math lecturer.1month to cny,13 days to celebrate my 17th birthday

1st day of lesson

mr rocket tan wanted to crash lessons today, but i told him monday would be a better time to do it.sorry ROCKET,hahaha.had GP lesson first, the teacher is quite okay,but she has some problems pronouncing words correctly.like oil, she will say something like oirl, or something like paper will become paperl.lots of weird words.she then showed the people at lecture a ppt, with heal the world by michael jackson as the background music.and yes,im gonna love the TIME magazine and Nat.Geo magazines,or Discover.it will help me in my GP alot.after that had an half an hour break, then came physics.the way the lecturer talked is like without physics, the physical world would not even have existed,quite through though.almost everything is based on laws of physics.yihao and i didnt take geog or history,so had a 1 hour break after physics.sat at the canteen and went to the library.they have a nice library, but its a bit old.im planning to take chem for JAE, but not PAE.so i'll be going to most of the chem lectures,in case i couldnt catch up in JAE.the math lesson is the best,H2 math.1 hour lecture, the teacher claimed that she could remember all the faces in 3 days, so she will know if youre absent.how she does that?not sure.she speaks like mrs lee of ahs,and she is the only one who actually started teaching.learned partial fractions, easy topic.and x^2 is a linear function,according to the lecturer.i dont know why, it is not linear for what i remembered from mr chan's lessons back in anglican.willie,edmond and the other guy went back to anglican to help the ncc people for their cca orientation,badminton doesnt have any,so i didnt go back.was planing to go back home first, since the cca selection will be 2 hours later.but stayed in the canteen with yihao and talked alot till the time is right.went straight to the badminton booth, they saw my uniform and dragged me there even before i reached there.so i signed up,and also peeped at the other applicants' ex-cca.there was like robotics,bb,that sort of stuff.nothing to do with badminton or sports at all.was quite surprised to see junyi at tpjc, thought he was in tjc.nevermind, at least there is a funny senoir there with me.guohao was also at the badminton booth, talked a lot of rubbish and there were these seniors whom talked lots of crap too.funny people, hope i could get into badminton, although the people there sort of like say to me "once you sign up and stay on,we will confirm you a spot in the team".

birthday in 16days,thats fast.34days to CNY,thats nearing too.361 days to end of 2008,haha

new year,new school

got up at 6 plus near 7, to get to school.you might think thats sort of late, but tpjc is just directly opposite my place, thats why i could get up at such time.theres going to be orientation, but i didnt set my expectations too high for that, in case i get disappointed if its not good enough.but it just simply meets my expectation, not that fantastic actually, but still alright.lots of briefings, this and that, all those little stuff and talks.going to start lessons on the 4th,taking physics,math,econs and h1 china studies.but its in english, i'll die if its in chinese, i dont want to study any chinese at all in jc, its a huge waste of time.will be choosing badminton again as my cca,my hands will itch if i dont play.heard that the coach is some malay lady, and shes quite good according to yien,but i dont care, never heard of her before in my 7 years playing badminton.zhangqingsong is back to ahs to coach the girls,maybe just to guide them through the tournament as a temporary measure taken by the school.

its a new year,new hope,new wishes and even a newer environment.i will not waste my time and study hard, really, and ace the exams.i will appeal by any means to tjc or sajc, tpjc is really lousy, hope it will only be 1 month plus and not 2 years.and im starting to miss ahs,its hard to put it down once you have grown attatched to a place,a very nice place where you really feel like its home.wish everyone a good year ahead,theres still 363 days to the next countdown party, student camp is on the 5-9 of june, please take note, but i dont think its confirmed yet.i'll be a leader there,see the sec 4s around.
