school started like 3 days ago on monday, but i felt that i really dont have time for my own stuff other than school work. i know this sounds ridiculous as it is just the start of a new school year, but my friends in tj and vj, you all dont have this assesment by the name of "MSA" or something along that line. i think it is supposed to help us in one way or another, i hope it does.

on the first day of school, i realised one huge difference.08S02 shrunk terribly, from last year. only 3/4 of the class remained, or 21 left. in other words, 7 did not make it the jc2.then, theres this special assembly. nothing really special to me actually, after being in an anglican mission school, or anglican high school, which runs about the same way as sajc does in terms of such stuff. so i managed pull through that, and then was followed by civics. a new civics tutor, but still miss tan, only that you can call her jasmine tan. thats the difference. BUT, i dont think she is someone to mess with. she speaks with loads of confidence, can be a bit scary at times. a few things have changed too. econs teacher, mr benjamin liang is out! that sounds good.wait, but nothing else changed except for econs and chem. im still the service learning rep for my class, same as last year. i hope to do something more meaningful this time round, and not play with some animals at spca for 2 hours and call it service learning. i want my class to understand the true meaning of service learning, as i have learnt from ocip not so long ago.

and discipline wise, the girls are really fed up with the school. although im not a girl and the rules for guys have also changed to weird weird ones, i think the 5cm thing is rather funny, and im not gonna elaborate any further.

by the way, i initially thought that my timetable was terrible, because last year the lessons end latest at 2.30pm. and this year its 4pm. but i still end at almost 2.30 any other days. so, its still good.

the ocip team video, that dear mark and olivia made, and i contributed the photos, was rather tear evoking at the first few moments, because of the slow song used. but when this picture of "beer girl" came out, it wasnt that feeling. it became a mixture of weird feelings running through me. i guess john and a few others may think the same way. after asking melodie what was that all about, it was a shirt that she wore in vietnam. i dont remember, but do i seem to care so much? NO.

while on this ocip thing, the open house was finally over today. one job less for me now, which means i got more time for my books. but melodie was nowhere to be seen for most of the open house, at least at the ocip booth. melina who helped out to pin up some stuff was more interested in the polo booth though. which left the same 3 banner painters to stay at the booth. watching girls pass by, while fiona continued to talk and comment about them. then when gen came past, hahahahahaha(: john was left in a super embarassing moment. want to know more? ask john. ocip made me learn a lot from other people, and also working with people. i will look forward to the next meet up.

back to msa, its this friday, all the way till 20th jan. which just happen to fall on my birthday. i think im prepared, yet i feel im not. i just hope to do well as i have worked for it. i deserve a good grade. i will not touch any of my guitars, till msa ends. i'll try to keep my itchy fingers away.good luck for msa.
