Are You Pure Chinese?

one of the J1 retainees in my class asked me this question,"are you pure chinese?".she asked that after asking me if i took higher chinese in secondary school.my first reaction was huh,uh...what you mean by pure chinese,you mean there is such thing called elective chinese,or like combined mother tongue.later then i realised that they were refering to my race,i think its because im rather tanned.they said my facial features were sharp too,thats something i dont realise.anyway,i'll be helping some people in my class for their chinese assignment,although i dont take chinese at all in jc.skipped training today for dental appointment,and also making a mouth guard that is specially made for me.

and during china studies class today,mr gay asked us this question.what words do you think of about china after 1978.my group listed these few
