Update

its the eve of cny eve today,mums cooking a lot of stuff tonight to clear out some of the new year food as they have bought too much.chinese new year mood?i dont feel it like i felt 10 years ago.last time everyone was so excited about chinese new year,not forgetting talking about the food and all such stuff.now,the mood and atmoshere feels so much different.only now,i feel that i look foward to cny celebrations.probably with a prospering economy, many singaporeans are starting to forget what cny is all about, and not just about who makes more money during this period of time.festivals are starting to get too commercialized,we are losing our roots.or maybe it could be the fast pace of life that spoils it all.we get too busy with things,students with exams and adults with books,that we dont even realise that hey, its cny next week,do you know?or it could even be the rising costs of living,everyone eats well and live well everyday.its not just the chinese new year that we could get the good food.anyway,happy chinese new year.maybe will be back in anglican to celebrate

went to cy's chalet/bbq yesterday.very few people were there,those from 4F i mean.there are also quite some of his relatives there.the bbq food was quite little in variety,i only could remember satay and stingray.its quite fun, like a get together with former classmates.not forgetting kc and ben who talked so much crap during the bbq.theres also the never dying candles that keep giveing out sparks and reigniting.

Hi people, thanks for all your concerns, especially for those who have made their way to Tan Tock Seng these past few days. Kenrick has been taken home to the Lord this afternoon. He is now with the Father in heaven. Though he may no longer be with us here, he lives eternally in heaven above now. So do not be sad, for he has finally gone home, to a place more beautiful than where we are now, a place where he will be happy, where he will live eternally and where all things are for eternity.
As what Keith has said, we would be resuming trainings on monday and we apologize for the disruptions and cancellation of trainings without prior notices. The training time would be as stated by Keith. Thanks.

this news came shocking to the school,and tpjc's badminton players.the mood at assembly this morning was solemn,despite yesterday's results release.while we were in school celebrating,someone had left us.the Lord is with you,kenrick.

the RESULTS

was back at anglican high yesterday to collect the o levels results of course.met up with the same old 4F,feels good to be with the class again,especially after everyone hardly met up during to holidays and these few weeks.as usual,the school will talk about how we did,and all those stuff.the level L1R5 average is 10.XX for our batch,so it means AHS will be back in band one and will value-add.haha,feels proud to tell others that we value-added the school.got the year book,along with some misc stuff.

ok,down to the results.i expected a 12,thats what i needed to get to st.andrews jc.and indeed,i got 12.God's at wprk and He answers prayers,i can tell you that.1 A1, 4 A2, 3 B3.hmmm....thats rather good for me.a 8point jump from prelim,which came out as 20.huge improvement for me.a rather disappointing B3 from hcl though,expected an A2.english and english lit were Bs too,unexpected for e.lit, cos my prelim was just a borderline pass,like C5.A1 came from e math.the rest of the aces came from chem,physics,combined humans,and a math.it was a rather good result for me.will be able to get to sajc.some people did well,some did not.zhengyi,guorong,good luck for your appeals.zhihong,take good care.congrats stef,huiwen,yuhua.

the previous week ended with a great weekend,of course as most of you might know, its my birthday.so as the plan goes....
Saturday
stayed at home during the day.whole body was aching hell lot from the previous night's rugby training at toa payoh.zhengyi came over to play guitar as usual before going out to meet jovan.went to jack's place at century square,but no fried food cos zhengyi had a terrible sore throat.jovan had his top striploin steak medium rare,i had baked salmon,zhengyi had some lamb-fish combo.total bill was $82.51,including a jug of honeydew juice with aloe vera.then went on to watch cloverfield,i think it was a horrible failure.imagine,the camera angle is first person,like someone recording from a handycam.so its shaky,and all 3 of us felt giddy after the show.didnt even see that terrible monster that attacked NYC.shit show,dont watch it.its a waste of money."i had a nice day".went home after movie,watched a bit of tv and my dad took out a bottle of sake we got from japan last year.then followed by red wine,white wine,irish cream,absolut vodka,and rose champagne.dead drunk by the time everyone done with drinking
Sunday
woke up with a headache,as expected.didnt have breakfast,too tired to have one.so decided to sleep in instead.went out for birthday lunch at meritus mandarin hotel's pine court.the food was great.ordered timsum,and all sorts of different chinese cuisine.the bill was in excess of 300 i think.but who cares,im not paying.

saw the tv in school on monday.o levels results are ready to be collected at 2 pm on thusday.getting a lil jitty as i dont expect it so early.i thought it would be on friday.but i already had this plan

Fridays will be tough

slacked for a good 3 and a half hours at the library after an hour of math lecture.the timetable is rubbish.but before that,had breakfast and a surprise birthday muffin from 08S23.i chose the chocolate one over the banana one.but its a tad too heavy,though its quite tasty.and i found that actually,ceputra is abit slow in his reactions.that actually made him kinda funny.my ipod is my best friend for the day.next week the o levels results will be out,i think its a friday.as usual,then went for the last hour of china studies lecture,didnt do much anyway.just talked.it was after the cse lecture that was the fun part.

during lecture,i got a gift from my classmates.i sort of knew what it was because christabel burst into laughter after knowing that i dont read magazines.but they really put in effort into wrapping up the gift.there is at least 7 layers if im not wrong.and a candy for every wrapper that i open.they gave me a FHM magazine.but dont get the idea wrong,i didnt ask for that,and i didnt want that.though its still nice to get a present for your birthday.thanks lots for the wacky idea : )

went for badminton training straight after that.the physical was hell,i realised i couldnt jog and sprint and jog again.i will get muscle cramps.did lots of footwork and the usual badminton stuff.also joined the team for bubbletea after training.and played bastard dai dee.and im the bastard.hahaha.

gonna leave for toa payoh for sru training already.i think i will die,4 hours.but thats what you get from national squad.hope i get my jersey soon.will be out for church and dinner with zhengyi,jovan,zhuting and brenda tmr night at jack's place.hope the food is good

i got a birthday gift today,from the people in my class.even though its a bit wrong,but still thanks to valerie,christabel and the rest of 08S23.im still alright,but the magazine ended up with keith.im still holding on to my faith tight.still prefered the nat geo magazine though
